The board has a base (2), a platform (3) for fixing a shoe, and a complementary unit constituted of longitudinal units (40-43), each comprising an end fixed to the platform at a half sole zone (Z.P). A free end of each unit is supported against the base in a zone (Z.C) remote from the zone (Z.P) so that the stress on the base is non null when the base is at rest. A median part of each unit is separated from the base by forming a pre-stressing bridge (5) so as to increase the local pressure applied by the shoe and to constitute a return unit for the base towards its rest position. An independent claim is also included for a gliding board kit comprising longitudinal units.
