Zusammenfassung:	The actuator (10,12) has a code carrier, preferably a chip, and a reader system (30) for contactless reading of the code carrier, which can be applied in the vicinity of the actuation element or lock. An evaluation unit (34) in which access authorizing codes are stored is connected to the reader system and evaluates the information stored on the code carrier, compares it with the access authorizing code and releases a blocking mechanism (26) if the codes coincide. The blocking mechanism is mounted in the vicinity of the actuating element or lock so that it blocks movement of the actuating element and/or the lock when in a blocking position.
