Zusammenfassung:	The bicycle fixing process involves using both pedals units (4), i.e. both pedals (4a) and/or both pedal cranks (4b), as the basis for receiving and fixing the bicycle. Only a simple guide (10) for the two wheels (2,3) may be required on the vehicle. The principle can also be applied to fixing the bicycle to a stationary object as a precaution against theft. The device used may include a carrier (11) and a movable clamping device (12). At least one part of the clamping device is spring to cover the different sizes and shapes of pedal mechanisms.
