This object is achieved according to the invention in that an adhesive, homogeneous, solid metal stearate film with a thickness of greater than 3 mu m is applied to the material before the first drawing stage, and in that the material coated with this film is drawn at an initial speed of greater than 2 m/s and with high degrees of individual deformation greater than 35% up to a degree of total deformation corresponding to that which is generally customary between two annealings.
