The invention provides a preparation method of phenoxyacetic ester, wherein the preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing a phenol compound with chlorocarboxylic ester, an acid bindingagent and a catalyst in a solvent, and carrying out condensation reaction by a one-pot method to obtain a phenoxycarboxylic ester compound, wherein the solvent is one or more of DMF, DMSO, DMI and acetone, and the catalyst is quaternary ammonium salt or polyethylene glycol. The preparation method realizes anhydrous synthesis of phenoxyacetic ester, has no water output and no water participation, really achieves zero-waste water discharge, reduces waste water discharge amount, performs later filtration to remove salt, has no need of dehydration, and has low energy consumption; the one-pot method makes the reaction process simple and has less equipment investment. The hydrolysis of alpha-chlorocarboxylic acid in the later ester hydrolysis reaction is reduced, and thus the consumption of alpha-chlorocarboxylic acid is reduced; at the same time, the loss of effective components caused by solid-liquid separation of chlorophenoxyacetic acid pure products in the prior art is effectively avoided, the yield of the effective components is improved, and the product has high purity and high yield.
