Zusammenfassung:Modeling cost in cyber operations is a difficult problem due to the number of variables involved and the potential perspectives that can be used to evaluate what constitutes cost. As such, there is a need for a cost computation method and program for the Cyber Fighter Associate (a knowledge-based system that helps to evaluate agility maneuvers). We developed a cost computation method and program for evaluating these costs from a number of perspectives while allowing for the changing network topology of real-world battlefield situations. This cost computation method allows for quick computation of cost for a given course of action and the potential for the addition of different approaches to cost analysis with a minimum of effort.
