Zusammenfassung:The purpose of the project was to determine the applicability of peer instruction to Air Force technical training. The Communications Center Specialist Course (3ABR29130) at Sheppard AFB was converted from conventionally presented instruction to a 100% criterion peer-instructional model. The first 50 graduates of the newly configured course were tracked to their initial duty assignments for mail survey follow-up. Their first-line supervisors were also surveyed by mail. In addition, selected sites were visited for the purpose of interviewing 21 of the 50 graduates and their supervisors. Peer-instructed students performed as well as or better than conventionally trained students in the course.
