LGM-30B, Stage II Dissected Motors Test Report

This report contains test results from physical and chemical properties of propellant and insulation materials from three dissected motors and from their corresponding propellant cartons. Testing was conducted in accordance with Service Engineering General Test Directive GTD-2 Dissect and Project M72633C/5MP-071P. Statistical analysis includes data from both inner (ANP 2864) and outer (ANP 2862) propellant from dissected motors and where available associated propellant cartons. A computer program was utilized to test for common populations between dissected materials, carton materials and individual dissected motors. Linear regression plots, using unique symbols to identify the different relationships between motor and carton data, were used to establish a general trend. Additional data from dissected motor materials will be required before realistic trends can be determined. Most regressions within this report have been taken from the axial orientation position with respect to a segment of the motor and will be so identified. (Author)
