HELAST 1 - A Field Study of Target Presentation and Defender Reaction
Target-presentation data and defender-tank reaction from an Armor Field Test are presented. Although the attack scenarios were conducted on terrain with virtually no vegetative cover, the detection and engagement performance was considered to be less than desired for effective defense.
