description In this work on rocket motion Chapter 3 deals with the control of rockets and calculation of trajectories. Ninety-two formulas are given in the discussion on control and trajectories. The authors discuss the stability of rocket motion in Chapter 4. The aerodynamics of rockets is discussed in great length, and this chapter contains one hundred eleven formulas. The accuracy of rocket firing and the effect of different factors on rocket flight are dealt with in Chapter 5. Trajectory observations and flight tests of rockets, methods of determining rocket attitude, trajectory measurements by electronic means, and optical and infrared measurements are topics of discussion in Chapter 6. American examples are cited, such as, the American telescope ROTI. (Author) Edited machine trans. of mono. Dvizhenie Raket, Moscow, 1968 p184-460, by Robert D. Hill.
