In addition, the confidence limits of the regression of creatinine clearance on inulin clearance do not permit the conclusion that a significant difference exists between these two estimates of glomerular filtration rate. Since creatinine clearance is the easier of the two clearances to perform, it has been adopted for all routine renal purposes. (Author) |
