The organo-silicate impregnation studies er co i u usi g simple exposure i pregnating technique, then gelling with concentrated sulfuric acid to hold the organo-silicate in place. Pressure casting studies continued and expanded so that the data could be s tistically analyzed to determine significant differences in the properties of test bars of slip-cast fused silica due to pressure, firing procedure, a vibration.
