Zusammenfassung:	A device for working liquid metal, made in the form of a vacuum chamber with two vertical channels, through which the metal is pumped with the aid of an induction pump is described. For the purpose of increasing the free surface of the metal being worked by spraying it in a stream, the length of the channels is made greater than the height of the raised column of metal as a result of the difference between the atmospheric pressure and the pressure in the chamber. Thus after the induction pump is switched on, the metal can be poured from one channel into the other across the threshold of the vacuum chamber. (Author)
