Zusammenfassung:The aim of the research was to examine the relationship between physical activity and the diet of secondary school students. Data on physical activity and diet were collected with the help of two questionnaires: the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) and the KIDMED questionnaire on healthy nutrition. The survey included 219 respondents from three secondary schools in Vrbas. The results of the research show that there are no differences when it comes to the diet of students and pupils. A very small percentage of students have optimal nutrition (11.4%), and a large percentage of those who need correction in nutrition (53.4%). More than half of the respondents are in the category of those who are intensively engaged in physical activity (53.4%), the percentage of respondents who are moderately engaged in physical activity is 39.3%, and only 6.4% of the percentage of respondents are insufficiently engaged in physical activity. When it comes to physical activity, gender differences exist. In percentage, there are more students who are intensively engaged in physical activity than pupils. There is no significant correlation between diet and total physical activity.
