Zusammenfassung:Salivary gland tumors, especially those affecting the submandibular gland, are extraordinarily rare neoplasms in children. As a result, there is not a lot of available information regarding the diagnostic approach and treatment of pleomorphic adenomas in this location in the pediatric population. With this work, by presenting our own case of a pleomorphic adenoma of the submandibular gland in a 10-year-old boy and by reviewing the published case reports of pleomorphic adenomas of the submandibular gland in pediatric age, we aim to help improving the management of children with these tumors. Keywords: Benign mixed adenoma, children, fine needle aspirate, pleomorphic adenoma, submandibular gland
