Zusammenfassung:French archeology is based on a kind of organizational ecosystem, joining public-service and public opinion. The newborn regional archeological service in Reunion Island experimented this gradual build-up throughout a crucial decade (2010-2019). Concerned with the legitimation and continuation of archeological work, it endeavoured to bring together involved people and assist them all along. The challenge was triple, first to organize scientific research programs, then to fully establish preventive archaeology, albeit strenghening its own ressources, optimizing them within seven years, and partnering with many institutions. Original archeological evidence was found as a pionneer achievement. Nowadays, they contribute to write a land’s history and boost its habitants’ memory. They can discover these results through the mediation of tools like educational package.
