description | Corporate social responsibility has an extremely wide field of action at all levels and in any type of economic activity, so the tourist area is no exception. The present investigation which had as purpose to analyze the social responsibility to improve the tourist offer in the sectors of San Clemente and San Jacinto in Manabí, Ecuador. The research was framed with a quantitative approach and under the descriptive modality. The estimated population was 381 inhabitants and a sample of 104. The questionnaire structured on a Likert scale with 3 response categories was used as an instrument. The results indicate that 60,5 % of the respondents know little about the ordinances of the Canton that are related to the tourist aspect. Likewise, 50 % consider that the sociocultural training process has had little impact on the responsibility of users of tourist resources in spas. On the other hand, the actors involved in tourism companies seem to remain on the sidelines or are not taken into account to generate public politics that allow tourism development of San Clemente and San Jacinto. |
