Novela realista, intertextualidad y algunas ideas filosóficas en La piedra que era Cristo de Miguel Otero Silva

Considering the premises realistic novel and intertextuality a thoughtful readingof La piedra que era Cristo (The stone that was Christ) was carried out and itwas ascertained that in the book two types of statements coexist, thosepertaining the field of philosophy and those of the New Testament. Byestablishing relations between them, a new and meaningful way was found torethink the novel up to now taken so little into consideration by the Venezuelanliterary or philosophical studies. A partir de las premisas de la novela realista y la intertextualidad se hizo una lectura reflexiva de La piedra que era Cristo y se determinó que en la obra coexisten los enunciados de tipo filosófico con los del Nuevo Testamento. Al establecer relaciones entre ambos, se amplió de manera novedosa y significativa el horizonte interpretativo y se logró una revalorización de la obra hasta ahora poco tomada en cuenta en los estudios literarios o filosóficos venezolanos.
