Zusammenfassung: | This research was carried out in the farm El Labrador which is located in the dairy valley of
Cañete, Lima. The objective was to assess the characteristics of milk productivity of the dairy
farm between the years 2000 – 2010. The research included the collection of information
from the farm and the Official Dairy Productivity Recording Service of Lima. Obtaining
1286 lactations out of a total of 476 Holstein cows. The data collected was analyzed via
descriptive statistics and statistical analysis in a random complete design to explain the level
of significance of the effects of calving number and the year of calving. The results obtained
for the productivity characteristic were: real lactation by campaign with 8525 kg of milk
with 364 days of lactation length, real lactation in 305 days with a yield of 7900 kg of milk.
Furthermore, the age at first calving was 27 months, age at peak production 58 months, an
average age of 48 month, dry period of 85,9 days, and an interval between calving of 15,5
months. By calving, the maximum productions of milk were by campaign: 9086 kg with
377 days at the second calving and in 305 days, 8635 kg at the third calving. By years, the
maximum productions of milk achieved were by campaign: 9707 kg with 441 days in 2003
and in 305 days with 9034 kg of milk in 2010. The effects of parturition number and the year
of calving showed a highly significant difference (P |
