Verificada a ovulacao, os tratamentos foram sub divididas em 5 grupos de 5 animais, obedecendo a administracao do farmaco estudado (eCG), sendo GI: controle; GII: 250 UI eCG no DO; GIII: 250 UI eCG no DO + 250 UI eCG no D2; GIV: 500 UI no Do; e GV: 500 UI eCG no D0 + 500 UI no D2. Para a avaliacao do efeito dose resposta do farmaco e influencia do eCG sob a glandula luteinica, foram coletados os dados: tonus uterino, ecogenicidade e tamanho do corpo luteo (CL) e concentracao de progesterona. Na analise estatistica somente quando comparando o GV entre os dois tratamentos ha diferenca estatistica para o D8 na concentracao de progesterona. Portanto o uso da eCG no momento da ovulacao, nao produziu efeito significativo esperado, mas este trabalho inicial abre portas para novas investigacoes a respeito desta biomolecula, e que venha contribuir na biotecnologia reprodutiva equina.
