description Objective: To identify the levels of academic stress in undergraduate students at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, and their relation to variables such as students’ age, sex, major, and level of education. Methods: The sample was taken from four hundred students belonging to different faculties at the University. An academic stress inventory was designed and implemented to a significant number or 604 subjects from different schools in the University during 2009. Results: Suggest that the test allows differentiating susceptibility variables to stress and academic context, as predictors of academic stress in undergraduate students at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, and revealing differences in the aforementioned variables. Conclusions: Different Educational spaces have different stress levels and the school should contribute to minimize oncampus stress levels.
