Zusammenfassung: | Teleseismic full-waveform tomography is implemented by iteratively solving seismic wave equations, so it is computationally prohibitive in high frequency. The hybrid method, which combines two or more methods and simulates teleseismic wave propagation effectively, can reduce its computational cost significantly. The FK-TSOS hybrid method combines the analytical solution in 1D background models computed by the frequency-wavenumber (FK) method and the numerical solution in localized media calculated by the time-space optimized symplectic (TSOS) method. Based on this hybrid method, we develop a new teleseismic full-waveform tomography to resolve the detailed structure of the local research domain efficiently. Its applications demonstrate our novel method can speed up the calculation of inversion and improve the resolution of localized structures. |
