Zusammenfassung: | What is it Supporting evidence for the allocation of new Rickettsia genomes Oopac6 and Ppec13 to Rhyzobius and Meloidae clades that currently have no available genome, as well as confirmation that Dallo3 is a Belli group Rickettsia. This is a phylogram of a maximum likelihood (ML) tree of 90 Rickettsia mutilocus profiles. The tree is based on 4 loci, 16S rRNA, 17KDa, gltA, and COI, under a partition model (2,781 bp total) as predicted by ModelFinder: 16S rRNA, TIM3e+I+G4; 17KDa, GTR+F+I+G4; COI, TPM3u+F+I+G4; gltA, K3Pu+F+I+G4a. Why is it The newly assembled Rickettsia genomes called Oopac6, Ppec13 and Dallo3 all fell outside of the currently described Rickettsia groups during other phylogenomic analyses that relied on whole genomes. Some Rickettsia groups (Rhyzobius, Meloidae and Onychiurus) are only known by specific marker genes. This tree was made to identify these new unique genomes based on MLST markers: 16S rRNA, gltA, COI and 17kDa. Use and benefit Using MLST to identify these three unknown genomes has allowed us to confirm the identity of these new Rickettsia. They include the first genomes for the Rhyzobius and Meloidae Rickettsia groups and confirm the third as a Belli that falls just outside the main Belli clade. |
