Zusammenfassung:Among the main characteristics of most human infections is their great phenotypic variability, partly due to the diversity of mechanisms that the immune response sets in motion against the great diversity of pathogens. Recently, the discovery of new genetic variants involved in the immune response to various pathogens makes it possible to highlight the shared role of signaling pathways in the pathogenesis of infectious diseases, which provide important insights into the genetic regulation of said response in humans. Especially in dengue disease, numerous data show that immunopathological mechanisms are the main determinants of variation in disease outcomes. In fact, recent research suggests that disease progression is more likely due to host factors than viral factors.
