description Title: Redefining the Microwave Plasma-Mediated CO2 Reduction Efficiency Limit: The Role of O−CO2 Association Authors: Alex van de Steeg, Pedro Viegas, Ana Silva, Tom Butterworth, Alexander van Bavel, Joost Smits, Paola Diomede, Mauritius van de Sanden, and Gerard van Rooij Journal: ACS Energy Letters Date: 2021-09-28 Description: In this letter Raman scattering and 0D modeling are used to assess the oxygen atom quenching dynamics in CO2 microwave plasma. The measurements reveal the important role of O-CO2 association as O-recombination / CO production reaction, thereby forcing a redefinition of the energy efficiency of thermal CO2 dissociation, as before this reaction was not taken into account. Access rights: Open License: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 This replication package consists of the raw data used for the creation of each figure, ie measurement data, together with the python scripts used for data treatment. Most raw data is in the form of .spe files. The python library (by D.v.d. Bekerom) calibrate_fiber_pos is always used to read these camera images. When applicable, the output files of the model of P. Viegas are given. More details on this model input can be found in the separate publication found in https://doi.org/10.1088/1361-6595/abb41c , or upon request to the author.
