Zusammenfassung: | This dataset consists of scans of Cambrian and modern echinoderms undertaken using the Medusa micro-CT scanner in the Centre for X-ray Tomography at Ghent University.
Scans were performed with a voltage of 100 kV, current of 350 µA, no filter and 1901 projections (each with an exposure time of 1000 ms), giving resolutions ranging from ~1–3.3 µm.
The dataset comprises two ZIP files containing slices (.tif) and metadata (.txt) from scans. In addition, a spreadsheet (.xlsx) is included that contains details of the scanned samples.
