Aquest treball vol donar una resposta a preguntes com les següents: Per què la política no ha tingut (mai?) ni té gaire bona fama?; realment és incompatible la recerca, la consecució i l'exercici del poder amb els dictats de l'ètica?; què han dit alguns dels pensadors més rellevants sobre la presumptament difícil relació entre l'ètica i la política? El trabajo quiere dar respuesta a preguntas como las siguientes: ¿Por qué la política no ha tenido (nunca?) ni tiene muy buena fama?; ¿realmente es incompatible la búsqueda, la consecución y el ejercicio del poder con los dictados de la ética?; ¿qué han dicho algunos de los pensadores más relevantes en torno a la presuntamente difícil relación entre la ética y la política? This work seeks to provide an answer to questions such as the following: Why has politics never enjoyed a good reputation, either in the past or now? Is the search for power, as well as its attainment and exercise, really incompatible with the dictates of ethics? What have some of the most relevant thinkers had to say about the supposedly difficult relationship between ethics and politics?
