Zusammenfassung:An appreciable dissolution of hydrocarbon gases such as butane, isobutane and neopentane in a vacuum grease was observed in the molecular probe study on preparingcarbon molecular sieves. A semi-quantitative measurement of the dissolution amount by the grease was carried out as a function of pressure and it was shown that the careful use of greases is needed in such the experiments.
