description The purpose of this paper is to examine correlation the MCT scores of Lao students with their school records. The examinees for the MCT are current students in Fundamental Study course, Architecture course and Architectural Engineering course in National University of Laos, and also architects who graduated from the aforesaid Architecture course. The conclusions are ; The averages of MCT scores of the female examinees' groups are 6.77-12.38 point and the ones of the male groups are 7.55-12.38 point, and then the average of MCT scores of Architecture Students in Department of Architecture, Architectural Engineering Students in Department of Architecture, and Architects graduated from Department of Architecture are higher than ones of Students in Fundamental Study. As the result of the principal component analysis applying to the school records and MCT scores of the students in the 4th-6th year of the Architecture course and its graduates, “Architectural Design” and “Studio in Design” are plotted close to MCT on the dimension constituted of the 1 st and the 2 nd principal component, moreover, it is clarified that there has correlation to a certain extent between MCT and those subjects.
