We considered the penetration of the jejunum probably to be due to the existence of subserosal lymphagioma. Lymphangioma of the small bowel is a relatively rare disease, and only 7 cases of lymphangioma of both the small bowel and its mesenterium have been reported in the Japanese literature. We discuss the clinical features of mesenteric lymphangioma.
