Zusammenfassung: | Effects to improve the quality of medical care have meant that increasingly intravenous hyperalimentation fluids (IVH) are being prepared by hospital pharmacists in clean booth or clean benches. Neverthess, there are still many places where IVH are being prepared in the nurse stations or by hospital workers other than a pharmacist. In this study, we prepared IVH under both conditions and compared the microbial contamination of each solutions. We demonstrated that if the proper methods are followed it is possible to prepare the solution free from contamination even in the ward. |
