Zusammenfassung: | Controls are useful to combat unfair competition, protect consumer health, combat illicit trade and promote development. On the other hand, controls or inefficient processes may affect the flow of trade and may compromise the competitiveness of economic operators. This paper aims to analyse performance indicators related to international trade and cross-border operations from the economic operator perspective. The method compares the analysis of the indicators found in literature to the indicators at the regulatory level. As a result, our study provides a useful opportunity to unveil the authorised economic operator (AEO) indicators in an implementing country. |
