Methods
Fifty-eight women with an endoscopic diagnosis of endometriosis and 40 age-matched normal females were included in this study.
Results
The study showed an absence of statistically significant differences as regards genotype distribution of the Glu298Asp polymorphism between women with and without endometriosis.
Conclusions
This study showed the absence of association between Glu298Asp polymorphism of the eNOS gene and risk of endometriosis in the Egyptian population. |
