Apparatus for measuring skinning resistance of potatoes
An apparatus was developed and tested which can be used to detect the resistance to skinning of the potato tuber. The effect of top kill treatment on resistance to skinning was readily determined by this method.Key words: Potato, Solanum tuberosum, mechanical damage, equipment
