Chylolymphatic cyst of abdomen in a toddler: a rare case report

Cystic lesion of abdomen in a toddler is a rare condition. It can be developmental, infectious, benign or malignant in nature. The site of origin may be from intrabdominal organs, omentum, mesentery, retroperitoneum, vasculature and lymphatics. They often present as acute abdominal pain, abdominal distension or constipation. Radiology and histopathology helps to arrive at diagnosis. We report a rare case of chylolymphatic mesenteric cyst in a 2 year old male child diagnosed by histopathology.
