To determine the Ephemeroptera (Insecta) fauna in the Pülümür and Ovacık districts of Tunceli province, a total of 2142 nymph samples were collected from 11 stations between March 2019 and July 2020. As a result, 22 taxa belonging to 10 genera of 5 families were identified. The Baetis (Baetis) vernus, B. (B.) lutheri, B. (B.) pavidus, B. (B.) melanonxy, B. (Rhodobaetis) milani, B. (R.) vadimi, Alainites muticus, Epeorus (Ironopsis) alpicola, E. (Caucasiron) znojkoi, Heptagenia (Dacnogenia) coerulans, Rhithrogena germanica, R. semicolorata, R. zelinkai, Ecdyonurus (Helvetoraeticus) picteti, Habroleptoides confusa, and Caenis macrura species were identified at the end of the study which are new records for the research area. |
