Practices of mediatization of collective memory in the digital world

The article is devoted to the consideration of mediatization of collective memory in a digital society. Th e digitalization of culture and communication processes, as well as the use of digital technologies in scientifi c historical research, are changing the ways of constructing ideas about the past in the contemporary world. Media has become the main tool for creating, storing and distributing images of the past, determining the perception of historical reality in the digital age.
