Feminismo, Resistência e Islã: um estudo de caso sobre a atuação das mulheres palestinas no Fatah, Hamas, Jihad Islâmica Palestina e Movimento Islâmico de Israel

Este trabalho apresenta, analisa e discute, a partir de lentes feministas pós-coloniais, a atuação das mulheres palestinas no âmbito das principais organizações que compõem o movimento de libertação nacional da Palestina. Trabalha-se com a hipótese de que embora esse movimento seja único (i.e. almeje o mesmo fim), há diferentes interpretações sobre como a “questão nacional” poderia ser resolvida. Logo, as mulheres que se filiam a essas diferentes organizações refletem essas diferenças, influenciando a forma como Fatah, Hamas, Jihad Islâmica Palestina (JIP) e Movimento Islâmico de Israel (MII) atuam para alcançar seus objetivos e tendo suas pautas, ao mesmo tempo, influenciadas pelas diferentes agendas dessas organizações. Mesmo que o objetivo específico seja a análise das ações das mulheres palestinas no âmbito dessas quatro principais organizações, objetiva-se também de maneira mais geral situar a atuação dessas mulheres no debate acadêmico sobre a agência feminina muçulmana. This work presents, analyzes and discusses, from a postcolonial feminist lens, the role of Palestinian women within the main organizations that make up the Palestinian national liberation movement. It works with the hypothesis that although this movement is unique (i.e. it aims at the same end), there are different interpretations on how the “national question” could be resolved. Therefore, the women who join these different organizations reflect these differences, influencing the way Fatah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and the Islamic Movement in Israel (IMI) act to achieve their goals and having their agendas, at the same time, influenced by the different agendas of these very organizations. Although the specific objective of this paper is to analyze the actions of Palestinian women within these four main organizations, it also has the more general goal of situating these women’s actions in the academic debate on Muslim female agency.
