Zusammenfassung:Progeny from crosses between parthenogenetic Lacerta armeniaca Mehely and L. unisexualis Darevsky and bisexual L. saxicola valentini Boettger were obtained after releasing bisexual males in an area where both unisexual species occurred. The progeny were a composite of both diploid (2n = 38) and triploid (3n = 57) individuals. Eggs of different ploidy may develop in the same oviduct, thus indicating that only a portion of a clutch of parthenogenetic eggs is fertilized in each oviduct.
