Zusammenfassung:Hydraulic experiments were conducted to estimate tsunami wave pressure acting on a land structure and examine the influence of a seawall on tsunami inundation, velocity and wave pressure. Although inundation depth behind a low seawall became smaller than that without a seawall, velocity was increased. The existing hydrostatic formula tended to underestimate tsunami wave pressure on the condition of low seawall. For applying reduced parameter based on effect of reducing tsunami intensity by seawall, it is necessary to use inundation depth without seawall. Estimation method of tsunami wave pressure using inundation depth and horizontal velocity at the front of the structure could reproduce vertical distribution of the maximum tsunami wave pressure measured in the experiments.
