Zusammenfassung:The use of cosmetic products is increasing all the time, not only among women but also among men. In this regard, this study examines how cosmetic product selection is based on maqasid shariah in order to prevent customers from using cosmetic product that threaten themselves and their lives.This reseearch is qualitative and using data collection method from article journal. Meanwhile, the main data analysis method use analyze content. As a result, the selection of cosmetic products using the concept of halalan toyyibah is used as a basis and yardstick for the prevention of harmful substances in cosmetic products, ensuring that the selection and manufacture of cosmetic product line up with Shariah law and the principle of the halal and tayyabah. Furthermore, consumers must be aware of the dangers of utilising unapproved cosmetic products. However, the claims made about cosmetic items in advertisements are exaggerated, and the effects of their use are not as portrayed, leading to customer confusion and severe consequences.
