Zusammenfassung:We realized simple fabrication of carbon nanotube field emitters for backlight units. Carbon nanotubes were directly grown on cathode lines patterned on low‐strain glasses by atmospheric pressure CVD with pulse electrical heating of cathodes for 1 second. Field emission current density was as high as 5.6 mA/cm2 at 3.3 V/μm.
