description The authors are doing research to develop a rapid curing device by using inductive heating for the production of a laminated rubber bearing. In the previous paper, it was shown that three problems exist; i.e. (i) the slit mold necessary, (ii) lower uniform temperature in the radial direction, and (iii) necessary temperature control by the internal location temperature, when the commericial frequency (60 Hz) induction heating was used to vulcanize a laminated rubber. This paper demonstrates that ultra low frequency heating is adequate to cope with the above problems. It will be shown that (i) the mold is not necessary a slit, (ii) the radial temperature difference is within ±5°C, and (iii) the internal temperature can be controlled by the side mold temperature, as the result of ultra low frequency induction heating test.
