The content of myoinositol in dog and cat milk

Myoinositol levels in dog and cat milk were determined by the capillary gas chromatographic method. The total solid contents were also determined. The myoinositol concentration in dog colostrum and mature milk was 7.7±5.0 and 46.9±26.3mg per 100ml, respectively. The respective cat milk values were 13.4±1.0 and 32.7±9.4mg. The total solid content of dog colostrum and mature milk was 25.1±4.3 and 22.5±6.2g per 100g, respectively. The respective cat milk values were 23.2±5.0 and 24.8±2.8g per 100g.
