Zusammenfassung:Leakage of i. v. administered pontamine sky blue (PSB) into gastic juice was decreased by cold restraint stress. The effect of drugs on this response was examined with the following results. The response increased at the initial stage (30min) but decreased at the late stage (14hr) after i. p. administration of reserpine (1, 5, 10mg/kg). α-Methyl dopa (24hr, 400mg/kg, i. p.) decreased but p-chlorophenylalanine (72hr, 3000mg/kg, i. p.) slightly increased the response. Iproniazid (16hr, 100mg/kg, i. p.) increased but pyrogallol (30min, 300mg/kg, i. p.) decreased the response. From these results, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the output of PSB and ulceration.
