Zusammenfassung: | Urchin-like ZnO particles were synthesized by using nanosilver seeds as catalysts. Particles of small size and uniform morphology were obtained. Nanosilver particles were analyzed by HRTEM. The urchin-like ZnO particles were characterized by XRD, SEM, and UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Improvements in the photocatalytic properties of modified urchin-like ZnO particles were observed and investigated through the degradation of methylene blue (MB) aqueous solution. An optimum degradation efficiency of 91% was obtained under illumination of UV light for 60 min. |
