A Raman spectroscopy study of the properties and chemical state of the surface of CdTe and CdHgTe

The Raman spectra of CdTe and Cd 0.2 Hg 0.8 Te single crystals held in air for a long time were analyzed. It was found that the properties of the surface of CdTe changed under the action of probing laser radiation.
