Linearity of the energy scale of a detector based on a LaBr3(Ce) scintillator

The linearity of a LaBr 3 (Ce) detector response in the energy range of 0.6–11.0 MeV has been investigated using various PMT voltage divider circuits. A tapered voltage divider circuit is proposed to reduce the nonlinearity.
