Magnetic ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrachloroferrate characterized by XPS

The XPS spectra of ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrachloroferrate (EmimFeCl4) were collected with Al Kα x-radiation, and the result provides a valence band spectrum in addition to the core Fe 2p, Cl 2p, and C 1s spectra.
