Germans of Kazakhstan are genetically related to European Russians, Germans and Eastern Europeans, suggesting their European Russia (Volga Region) origin following their 19th century migration to central Asia. Uzbeks, likely indigenous, were genetically close to Eastern Russians, Europeans, and Asians. |
